🎄 Little Anvil Christmas Closure 2025 — Holiday Trading & Lead Times
A Note From Neil — Our Christmas Break & What It Means for Orders
It’s been our busiest year yet, and before we head off for a well-earned break, I wanted to share our Christmas trading dates and what to expect with orders over the next few weeks.
We’ll be downing tools at the end of the day on Tuesday 23 December, and we’ll be back in the workshop on Monday 19 January.
The website will stay open the whole time, and you’re welcome to place orders whenever it suits you — but here’s how shipping will work.
Shipping In-Stock Items Before Christmas
If something is in stock, we’ll ship it right up until our last day of trading on 23 December.
Australia Post and courier delays can happen at this time of year, but we’ll get everything out the door on our end.
Made-to-Order Lights & Lead Times
Most of our lights are built to order, and that takes time — cutting timber, fabricating steel, machining components, wiring, testing… the whole lot.
Because of that, some orders placed in December may not be completed before Christmas. Here’s how we’ll handle things:
If your light can’t be built and shipped before our break, we’ll let you know.
Your order will be placed at the front of the queue when we return on 19 January.
We’ll build and ship all made-to-order lights on a first-come, first-served basis when we’re back.
Our standard lead times still apply.
If you’re unsure whether something can be shipped before Christmas, just reach out — I’m always happy to give you an honest estimate.
Orders Placed Over the Holiday Break
We’ll still be accepting orders while we’re away.
Any orders placed between 23 December and 19 January will be slotted into the production queue in the order they arrive. We’ll start building again the moment we’re back in the workshop.
If you’re working to a deadline or planning a renovation, it’s worth getting in touch before you order so we can give you clear advice on timing.
A Big Thank You From Us
Before we close the doors for the year, I want to say a genuine thank you.
This has been our biggest year to date, and it’s all because of the people who’ve backed us, trusted us, and chosen to bring our work into their homes and businesses.
We’ve shipped Little Anvil pieces to every corner of the globe this year — something I never take for granted. For a small family-run workshop in Melbourne, that support means the world.
Thanks for sticking with us, for your patience during busy periods, and for letting us keep doing what we love.
If you’ve got questions, need a clearer idea on timing, or want to chat about a custom piece, give me a call or flick me an email. Always happy to help however I can.
Have a safe and happy Christmas break — and thanks again for all your support this year.
