I'm originally from Glasgow, where I studied furniture construction and design, but I've been making lights for 20 years.

I've always been inspired by beautifully made objects, especially when something is repurposed in a unique and clever way. Take Luke's lightsaber in Star Wars for example. One of the most iconic weapons in movie history is made from an antique Graflex camera flash and part of a calculator. Genius.

I've made table lamps from vintage fire hose nozzles and antique medical parts and have always had an eye for beautiful mechanical and industrial design. In 2023, Little Anvil aims to uphold the tradition of quality craftsmanship; designing custom lighting & decor that adds something special to your space and stands the test of time.
