This vintage-style industrial ultra heavy-duty shelf bracket is a throwback to the times when products were over-engineered and built to last. Our hand-fabricated brackets are made from 6mm / 0.25” hot rolled mild steel and are designed to sustain large amounts of weight using a gusset.
The holes have been offset to allow easy wall and shelf installation. Our brace won't get in the way of your drill.
Our love of old-style steel industrial structures and equipment is shown in this item. We aimed to design a product that wouldn't be out of place on a turn-of-the-century railroad or steel girder bridge.
These brackets have been tested with a static weight of up to 40kg each but would be happy to be pushed further if you can find a wall anchor strong enough. Two standard sizes are available to suit shelf depths of 190mm, 250mm, and 300mm.
When you need your shelf to be able to take an ultra-large amount of weight and want to be confident that the bracket isn't going to fail, use this one.

Screw Options:
We supply a range of decorative traditional-style black oxide screws and bolts to complement our industrial steel shelf brackets. Traditional bolts had square heads instead of hexagonal heads, whilst the screws had slotted heads instead of the modern Phillips' head.
If you are mounting into a stud or using a suitable wall plug, we suggest the round head screw, countersunk screw, or lag bolt options:

Little Anvil industrial steel bracket mounting holes suit our #12 screws and ¼" lag bolts. We recommend using a ¼" rub washer in conjunction with the lag bolts.

For the wall fixture, we'd suggest at least a 2" screw. For locating your shelving, the screw length will be dependent on your shelf thickness. If you are mounting the brackets onto masonry such as brick, concrete, or block - we supply blackened head Dynabolts for both countersunk and non-countersunk holes that can be found here:
