Our Multi Bulb Heavy Table Lamp is a Steampunk themed lamp featuring a steel gooseneck built onto a custom machined hot-rolled mild steel base with brass hardware and detailing. The articulated arm is tapped into a solid brass hub, housing four E27 lamp holders and allows positioning of the lamp up to approximately 45°. The base is modelled on a previous one-off design which received an unprecedented amount of interest online. Here’s a small selection of where it has appeared:

The steel ring was originally part of a lift mechanism from Melbourne’s first ‘Skyscraper’ – the Orica building on Spring Street. The base has been antiqued and sealed with Penetrol and sits on top of solid brass foot detailing.

This lamp would be ideally suited to an office desk, hotel concierge, restaurant reception area or as a decorative table lamp. We use either Australian approved (RCM) or UL listed electrical cable, lamp holders and hardware in the construction of our desk lamps, depending on the country of purchase.
