This Polished Brass Fire Hose Nozzle Table Lamp is a Steampunk themed light that features a re-purposed fire hose nozzle mounted on a spun brass base.
The nozzle is pitted and dented through a lifetime of putting out fires and was originally nickel plated. The plating had cracked, worn and tarnished over time so we have stripped, polished and left it unsealed to allow the brass to patina naturally.
We have installed a cast iron weight underneath and brought the components together with antique brass plated hardware. The light would be ideally suited over a fireplace, in a hotel reception, bar, restaurant, or as a decorative table lamp for the home.
We use either Australian approved (RCM) or UL listed electrical cable, lamp holders and hardware in the construction of our desk lamps, depending on the country of purchase.
